Prophetic Worship Course

The word prophetic in this context means “hearing God in your heart and communicating what He says.” To prophesy is to speak (or sing) by “inspiration.” There is an emphasis on spontaneity in prophetic worship. When we worship God in spirit and in truth, His spirit quickens us and stirs up a spontaneous flow of genuine worship to our God. Spontaneous worship often leads us into another place in worship that is not organized. And new songs and music pour from the heart of the worshiper.

As we commune with God, He responds to us. It is God’s spirit that dwells in us which gives us a prophetic voice. At CSMEP students who are called into worship are thought how to worship God in truth and in spirit through words, song, and dance.

Module One

  • Introduction. The core of worship. The origin of worship, The why of worship (ps. 148:5)

  • The Sprit of worship & The worshipper

  • The Old Testament worship & the worshippers

  • The New Testament worship & the worshipper

Module Two

  • The Life of King David as a worshipper

  • The life of Jesus Christ as a worshipper of God the Father

  • The New Testament requirement of worship- John 4:23 

  • The essence of the word and worship

Module Three

  • The power of Worship and it’s possibilities

  • Spiritual positioning for a true worshipper (life of a worshipper, character, attitude, prayer life

  • Prophetic worshipper -general meaning of the prophetic and it’s linked during worship

  • Choosing of songs & presentation, difference between praise and worship
